Donations

Due to the severe economic downturn our plans for the restoration of the tower will take longer than originally anticipated. Although the tower is a Recorded Monument (which means that nothing can be done to it without planning permission, etc.) and the controls are even stricter than if it were a protected structure (which would be eligible for grants!) there are no grants or funding available towards its maintenance and conservation. The tower needs further work to it to reduce or prevent the damage caused by time and the elements. If you have an interest or appreciate the ancient architecture of Ireland or are related to the great O'Kennedy clan and would like to support this work your donation would be greatly appreciated. All donations will be recorded and acknowledged in The Tullaun Castle Fund register.
